About International Bognor Birdman
The Birdman competition is for human powered flying machines held each summer in the picturesque seaside resort of Bognor Regis on England’s South Coast. Many fliers take part to raise money for charities, others design complex flying machines to compete for cash prizes, trophies and mementos.
Bognor Regis is situated on the South Coast of England between Brighton and Portsmouth. With direct road and rail links from London and the rest of the UK, getting to Bognor Regis is very easy. The A259 runs through Bognor Regis and the B2166 will take you to the seafront where the competition is held on the pier.
